Shifting home

Mac shifted home ..wait wait.. I just meant that my parents shifted home :). We are facing a weird problem. Mac is thinking that we would go back to the old house one day. He is not settling down in a place. To add to it, he does not eat well these days. Being a lab and a little plump, this boy finds it difficult to get up as we feel that his hind legs are weak.

It has been almost 3 months in the new home and he still feels unsettled. When my parents go out he barks non-stop. This has never been the case in the old house. We have left him alone for weeks when parents had to travel. He never used to create problems. Though he used to be sad that he is away from us, he still felt comfortable in the old home. This has not been the case in the new home. I just hope things get better and his feeling of jittery goes away.

We take most of our pet dogs for walking on roads. This will not only keep the dogs fit and healthy but also ensures that their nails are properly maintained. Feed the dog daily. Do not skip their meals. For adult dogs, feed them with Pedigree. I feed my dog with rice, ghee and egg mix. He eats them happily. I feed him twice a day. In the morning when he wakes up, I feed him milk. Also in the evening, I feed him with little milk. This way he does not eat too much nor does he starve.

All of us need healthy pets. So we must ensure that our dog eats well and to the right amount. For puppies, its best to keep feeding milk for initial few months. Puppies are like babies. They cannot chew and swallow solid food. So feed them with milk until they grow up.

Fluffy/hairy dogs

To take care of dogs with lot of hair on their body, Shampoo them every fortnight and groom them with dog brush daily. This way the dog hair will not form knots and the pet will look gorgeous.
